Are the two Digital Main Output Ports on the T4S a Left / Right Stereo Pair?

I think I've seen talk / articles in the community / wiki that show a combination hookup where one Digital and one analog connection are recommended for DJ setups using two L1 MII. I think those recommendations might be for the older T1 though.

Page 12 of the T4S / T8S manual shows a diagram with one ToneMatch cable connected to a Left and another ToneMatch cable connected to a Right L1 MII. 

Would this be the proper way to connect a T4S to a pair of L1 Model II in a DJ setup?

Yes.

Yes, that was for the T1.

Yes, and use the PAN control to put the sound where you need it. Typically, with stereo tracks, you will have two output (left and right). You will connect those to two inputs on the T4S. Set the pan control hard left for one side and hard right for the other.

Cool. This seems like a simple and straightforward way to connect two L1 MII in a DJ setup.

if you use a T8S instead of the T4S the connections would be from the L R XLR outputs to the TRS 1/4 inch inputs on the L1? OR 1/4 inch TRS to TRS cables from the analog outs on the T8S to the Analog In on the L1 model II powerstand?

You can use the XLR or the quarter-inch outputs.
