Customers unable to hear me

I have purchased Bose 700 for my job. I am connected to my Thinkpad laptop by Bluetooth and can hear perfectly the issue is that everyone says I sound like I'm miles away. I need this to speak with customers. Please advise how I can improve my sound quality that customers can hear me?

Have you tried clearing the pairing list on your headphones? You can do this by pressing and holding the Bluetooth button for 10 seconds. I would recommend deleting the pairing of your headphones on your laptop as well.

 out of curiosity, what is your active input device?  (Right-click on the sound icon in your taskbar tray, and click on Open Sound Settings, and look at the selected Input device.)  Is it maybe the "Laptop Mic (Realtek(R) Audio" instead of your headphones?  Or are you definitely using the 700's mic?
