DI box needed for acoustic guitar into L1 Model 1 with no T1

Hello - I am connecting an acoustic/electric guitar (Epiphone Masterbilt DR-500 MCE with 2 pickups - 1 nanoflex low-impedance under saddle, 1 nanomag/magnetic at the end of the fretboard) directly into an L1 Model 1, with no T1/tone match mixer.  Do I need to use a DI box, or can I go directly into the L1?  Thanks!

The original L1 Model 1 has two inputs which can be used for connecting instruments like your acoustic guitar.  Inputs 1 and 2 use combination jacks that can support both microphones and instruments.  When you plug your guitar pickup(s) in using a 1/4 inch TS cable, the signal gets sent to a high-impedance circuit, so no external DI box is required.  You can use the Trim control to adjust the input gain and there are ToneMatch EQ settings available on the system for inputs 1 and 2 that will probably work for your particular acoustic guitar.
