Disconnection between Bose sound bar500 and Headphone nC700

Bose product name  - Bose headphone NC 700 and Sound bar 500

 

Country- India

 

Firmware Version

 

App Version - Bose Music app 

 

What devices were you using that were affected and what version are they on (e.g. Samsung Galaxy S9 on Android 11, iPhone X on iOS14, etc.)

Detailed description of the issue and steps to reproduce - The issue is every time I disconnect the headphone I have to group it again in the Bose Music app. previously it used get connected as soon as I switch on the headphone. Now it remains connected to my iPhone and not disconnecting to connect t with the sound bar. 

 

What environment do you experience the issue in? (e.g. noisy office, quiet kitchen, etc.)

 

When did you start to experience the issue? Did it work correctly previously? yes

 

Any troubleshooting steps you took- Chatted with the Bose technical personnel and they recommended to update the software for the headphone and sound bar. No change

Thanks for reaching out to the community, we appreciate you taking a look into some troubleshooting.

 

It is bizarre that you were able to automatically initiate a connection between the two products as groupings are not saved in the Bose Music app. The standard grouping of products would require you to manually make a connection in the Bose Music app each time you wish to pair. What you are experiencing here is the normal function of grouping within the app.
