I, (and apparently other people) wish that my T1 tone match could mount to my L1 compact. I did review the other options and eventually purchased the Bose mic stand adapter which works well enough, but still wished for the on-the-column option. In studying/measuring the bracket inside the base which holds the column, I started looking at off the shelf items that might be able to emulate the Bose bracket and allow me to attach the T1 bracket that came stored in the lid. After a visit to one of the big box stores I found that the 12” Closetmaid #2800 steel shelf track was around the size I needed except for the length. I set the Bose T1 bracket on top, marked at the non-notched end and cut it to size. Using a 1 ¼ dowel and a 5 lb mini sledge hammer, I set the dowel in the opening pounded it in multiple places and checked the angles to those in the L1 compact extension. After several adjustments, the bracket matched the extension angles and slides freely with no binding. I then expanded the hole in the new bracket and using a longer black M6 metric bolt purchased from the hardware store (the bolt has an allen wrench head that has small grooves which allows me to easily finger tighten it), I positioned the T1 bracket with longer screw over the hole and hot glued all around the white bracket as well as adding a black zip tie through the slots and around the opening at the bottom of the T1 bracket. I purchased some Model Master flat black model paint and painted all white areas showing with 2 coats. I then needed something for the bolt to press against. I found a leftover landscaping stake in my garage (made by Master Mark Plastics #99410, still available) that was narrow enough on one side to fit into the slot and wide enough on the other to bridge the gap. I cut it to size (allowing for the zip tie end), marked the hole location and slightly drilled into it to seat the metric bolt. Once assembled, this has allowed me to position the T1 bracket anywhere it is needed and it is easily removable. Not anywhere as good as what Bose can do, but it will work just fine until a Bose designed option ever becomes available. (Which I would buy. Estimated cost for the components is under $20 and about one hour's work. See attached pictures)

I went a much simplier approach. I squared off a washer to match the notch. I used a nut, washer, and screw to set the squared washer so that the washer held the bottom while the M6 screw went through the bracket. I used two IRWIN Spade Vise Grips to spread the opening to match the L1 bracket. It works well.
