Electric guitar with S1 Pro

Are there battery powered amp emulators that are portable so S1 Pro could be use outdoors with electric guitar"?

Boss makes some stomp boxes like the BC-2, FBM-1 and ST-2 that run on batteries and are amp emulators.

The Tech 21 Character Series pedals also run on batteries and emulate various amps.

Sure there are others.

Seems Tech 21 has discontinued the character series pedals.  They now have this which is a little more versatile.  Can create sound of multiple amps rather than just a specific one

Thank you

I found that my 2019 '61 SG Standard sounded GREAT in the S1 using the guitar preset and a little reverb...

And of course, I gig with a Boss ME-80 now...

Hi, Richard.

I get some great tones out of the S1 Pro and the Boss GT-1.

The amp models and effects are from the Boss GT-100 and they are fine for any situation where I'd use the S1 Pro.  And it runs on batteries.

These days, I'm sorely tempted to get a Strymon Iridium. That's a whole different ballgame. Unfortunately, I'd have to rig up some kind of external power supply.

I use these kind of things. You can get them up to 12v DC out. Watch out for the polarity as you may also have to get a lead to flip the polarity over:

plugged to one of those smart phone emergency power supply. A beefy one for the power. It will give you plenty of power to last you a few gigs:

Hi Richard, I am not a guitarist, I play blues harp... if you really want to “go light” and wireless as well, check out the Kithouse K380C system... it won’t give you amp emulations, but for the price and convenience, you’ll get a few effects!

Cheers!

I have one of these and it works great for 3-5 hour gigs to power 5 items (9v) on my guitar Pedalboard:

Then straight into the Bose S1 Pro systems...run flat...

What kind of electric guitar are you using with the S1 Pro? What style of music are you playing?
