Error on display

My Soundtouch30 display shows

"Error code 0000. Contact bose service"

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing this error on your SoundTouch 30. 

 

I would recommend that you reset your speaker by removing the power for 30 seconds and then reconnecting. 

 

If the issue then persists, please contact your local customer service center to discuss service options. 

Global Contact Us > Select your country > Scroll to the bottom of the page > Click 'Contact Us'

Hi Charlotte

Unfortunately the error persists even after resetting. It worked once but now back to the error mode.

The service centre guys here have quoted me a VERY STEEP CHARGE for the same, saying that this is a hardware issue. Is that legitimate? I am so disappointed my system is only 2.5yrs old and used sparingly
