Recently I updated firmware on a running ESP880AD but the program on it was made in a previous version so now I can not send nor retrieve the program in order to make modifications, also Dante is not responding, it sends a message that Dante most be updated but Dante controller can't find it.
Is there a way to reset the ESP to a factory default? or delete the program on it in order to send the new one? or maybe to downgrade to previous firmware?
You can update the Dante in the controlspace directly by the dante updater in the Bose directory:
The program is called fum.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\Bose\ControlSpace 5.8\bin\fum.exe
Then look up the latest firmware in the bose directory:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Bose\ControlSpace 5.8\bin\Dante Firmware
BUT... whatever the firmware is you should always be able to get the program out of the ESP.
Go to the Hardware manager and discover the device, in the firmware version, so you can match or upgrade or even downgrade without any problem.
Don't hesitate to reach out to me for more questions
