Bose F1
Will we be able to use our T1 ToneMatch Audio Engine to drive a pair of these in Stereo? Mono?
Many of us DJs find the T1 more than adequate for our needs and it is a very fine “sound card” for output from our Macs (or PCs).
If so, please add instructions for this to the Wiki!
Looks interesting…what about the prices?
thank you! franz, Trio Marleen
At last it will be an ideal system!!! Good dispersion, high level pressure, compact & light weight. Now to wait from the Bose sound mixer .
I can’t figure out who this is for. It doesn’t have a T1 port, and it isn’t meant to be put behind the performer, so I guess it’s just a standard PA speaker with a flexible array. I guess DJ’s and people looking for a new FOH system will like it, but it’s not intended to be used like an L1. Why is it in this forum?
I’ve read through the promotional material now. Maybe this could be used by a solo performer behind? I can’t imagine lugging a speaker stand around again though - I’ve been spoiled by the Model II and Compact. Here come those days of worrying about speakers getting knocked or blown over again. Ugh.
It’s obviously an addition to the Bose Family, not a replacement.I believe it’s great for the conventional die hards, not for everybody. It will definitely have it’s place IMHO.
