What features would you like to see in the F1 Model 812 and F1 Subwoofer?

An app that lets me see if the speakers are clipping and set the EQ. or DSP settings.
Definitely Bluetooth on the 812, as well as the use of the Bose Connect app. Would be nice to have DSP features on the sub and 812 as well, but I get that Bose is trying to keep things as simple as possible for users.
A magical set of waveguides (user attachable) that would allow you to use multiple F1 812s per side (of a stage) if the user needed more output than one per side could give them. These wave guides would eliminat comb filter issues that would typically happen with these speakers a such close proximity! 
Ability to adjust the height of the built-in stand (often times it is not high enough to get over the heads of big crowds. The ability to stack multiple F1s on top of each other to create a bigger array.
I second the idea of having the ability to adjust the height of the built-in stand.
A cardioid version of the F1 Sub and the ability to send audio over AVB directly to the 812 and Sub.

I do believe the current F1 subs can already be used in a cardioid configuration. Maybe ST will chime in here to clarify how this is done.
I agree with the idea of adjustable height. I had mentioned a while back that it might even be good if they made a much shorter bracket that would essentially allow the 812 to sit pretty much directly on top of the sub. Then if they could created some sort of bracket to securely allow you to stack another 812 on top of that whole rig. granted I’m envisioning a completely different type of bracket but that would allow you to scale up the rig when you need more volume.

I think the F1 sub isn’t wide enough to go much higher with the F1 tops safety, which is why it is as low as it is. Just a thought.
Right, but the supplied mount is almost the height of the 812. So if the first 812 could be mounted directly on the sub, then the second 812 may at most be a few inches taller than the current setup.

Oh I see, that would be a cool!
I think it would have to be a completely different rig... Maybe that can be bolted onto the fly rig holes. Maybe include latches to keep things sturdy. I think sound-wise it would just extend the line array and allow us to play bigger venues.
I would vote for a more powerful rig that incorporates the integrated design of the F1 Sub and the 812. These are great speakers but a pair is not suitable for audiences of more than 200 people if you're a DJ or looking for more physically engaging audio experience on the go. I would also appreciate more attention paid to the materials. Coming from an L1, I appreciate the improved presence of the midrange, but overall, I find the 812s muddier and less intelligible than the L1 series and less forgiving to poor analog sources.

For those of use the F1 stack as a a true FOH solution (as designed) with a band, it would be nice to see an 812 that is more orientated by design as a dual purpose FOH/Wedge option...Almost like cross between an 812 and S1 Pro. Using QSCs for a few years, it was a nice option to mix and match K12s as FOH/wedge(s) as needed. Understanding the 812 was not designed for use a wedge, the S1 is about the only option. I have been getting great results using S1s as wedges and at times could appreciate a tad more db oomph.... A bit larger one would be great! An F1 810 dual purpose FOH/Wedge....?? 2 F1 stacks, an 810 in the center of stage as a monitor and a few S1s as needed for wedge fill ins...? I currently have 2 S1s and 2 F1 stacks, I would purchase a slightly larger one in a heart beat - perhaps 1000 Watts with a footprint about the size of a QSC K10... with 115-120db rating.. Not sure battery needed/desired and BT for this application is needed and to keep the price point down, suggest 100 less than the 812....50Hz-20kHz, pole mounted. Another is an S2, just a bit larger, more powerful...

From La Rochelle/FRANCE... Hope my english is OK ! I've been using "4xSub 302 and 8x802 with 4 amplifiers BOSE 1800-VI" since 1998. Proud to be sound engineer for rock-jazz-blues-reggae or even classical music'groups all along, with audience to 2,000 people max, i first heard the F1 system on the 1st of July 2018. Waoooouh ! On September, i decided to sell my whole system, then immediatly bought 2 F1 Sub 2 F1 812. Too happy to keep on the roads, at the moment, people are very surprised to hear about it ! And me too... I'm only waiting to use it outdoor with nearly same audience to compare. A bemol ? 2 handles are missing on the sides of the 812 to put them easily on stands, cause i prefer to get it higher than using the supplied mount. And it's a pity we can't put straightly the 812 directly "on" the Sub. However, I did it last W.E, but the 812 was not totally secured, so I strapped them. Endly, I don't like the "hole" between the 2, first for the "look", but also we don't need to separate them when we use it on stage !!!

Sometimes, it shouldn't be necessary to fix the 812 on the "supplied mount" of the Sub. But when you just pose the 812 directly on the Sub, it doesn't stand perfecly. We have to securit the system with a belt all around.
It's a pity that BOSE didn't think of this so singular utilisation ! And the system is so nice to see without the "hole" caused by using the supplied mount, isn't it ?

I would say making them water resistant... using the same technologies that Bluetooth speakers use would be GREAT!
I am not sure why cheap Bluetooth speakers can be water proof, and Bose portable PA gear is not... in fact this is true of all pro audio powered speakers. One idea I had was to have the power cord on the bottom and perhaps have the F1 have a lip around the bottom of the speaker so that if rain was blowing in on the side the power cord would be safely tucked up out of the way... There could also be some design development to make the power cord socket more water proof as well.
Just an idea for those "iffy" days that might rain and the event is outdoors.
I was really looking at two F1 812 plus subs for one of my DJ live sound rigs, i love the sound and portability, however, the height of the 812 when attached to the sub was not high enough for my needs, would be fine on an elevated stage, but I was not comfortable ground stacking at dance floor level.
So, to answer your question, need the ability to raise tops higher when attached to subs....
