F1 Powered Subwoofer

I own two set  L1 compact speakers and sastified with the sound when I played live music indoor. However, they seem not enough bass when I played outdoor. Due to versatile setup needs & cost, I don't not want ugrade to L1 system with B2 bass instead buying one F1 powered subwoofer when playing out door. Can someone advise if F1 Powered Subwoofer is compatible with my two L1 compact speaker or can be setup for my intention?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks!

Hi AP,

Yes, you can use the F1 Subwoofer with your two L1 Compacts.

Here is the Input/Output panel of the F1 Subwoofer.

  1. Connect your sound source (mixer?) to the F1 Subwoofer.
  2. Connect the F1 Subwoofer Line Outputs to your L1 Compacts. You will need XLR to 1/4 inch jack Tip-Ring-Sleeve cables.
  3. Set the F1 Subwoofer EQ to HPF (High Pass Filter). This is the switch at the botton right corner of the picture).

Does that help?

I will try this and thanks you much!

Hi ST,

Sorry, I have one more question. How's about polarity setting? Or it works either way? Thanks!

Hi AP,

Usually, you will leave the Polarity set to NORM.  If you find the bass seems weak  (could happen depending on the distance between the F1 Subwoofer and the L1 Compacts) try the Polarity set to REV.

Great! Thanks.
