As I do vocals with arranger-keys and/or with an arranger/midi/audio player module, I’d like to see/hear how the Bose techs address the following issue recently discussed on the Bose facebook page:
Q: “ … I went and read over Internet and somehow I came to learn this "compression issue" is a US-market issue (120V power). I could be wrong though. Enlighten me.”
Response: “ … the compression issue I experience w the (L1) M2 is mostly experienced during vocal passages (singing) when playing at volume nearing the limiter- which in my opinion is set much lower than on the Classic model, due to only half the available wattage. My backing tracks practically disappear under my voice, make the M2 not practical for my needs. It's why i went back to the Classic for the last 8 years. Because you are using mastered material during a DJ set, you can get more volume, as the tracks are "hotter" across the frequency spectrum …”
