This question is strictly for L1 folks who are also users of both K&K mini pickups and K&K Preamps (either Pure or Pure XLR).
(If you are using another preamp or pickup, please refrain from trying to convince me/us that your rig is better. You may well be right, but that’s not what this discussion is about.

OK, So you use the K&K mini pickup and either the Pure or Pure XLR preamp. Here are my questions:
- Have you a/b’d with and without the preamp?
- Does the preamp make a difference for you with your L1 setup? in other words…
- Does your guitar sound as good with the preamp as it does without it?
