Has anyone had any luck repairing a blown 812 loudspeaker?

After a few years of service, one of my speakers started to rattle. Has anyone had success getting it repaired?

I'm sorry you're having a problem with the F1 Model 812.  A rattle might be a loose grill. The grills are pressure fit at the edges. (Don't press in the middle).

If the rattle is inside the unit, you can send them into Bose for repair.

I wanted to follow up. Turns out it was just a cable issue. Didn't have to send anything out. Thanks for the reply!

Hi, Gleb.

Enjoy the music.

I have a F1 812 flexible array loudspeaker that there is no sound when turned on no heat coming from the amplifier how can I send it in to fix it and what’s the repair cost it looks like if the amp inside gave up

Hi DJBlazer509!

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with the F1 812. For info on available service options, I recommend getting in touch with your local Bose support team.

This has happened to me with 5 different Bose F1 M812 units within 2 years. The one that blew up today had the volume at 11 o’clock and the output of the Mackie mixer was at -10. I’m so fed up with Bose I bought a EAW RS system and couldn’t be happier. The EAW system sounds natural and has way better sound quality then the Bose F1 M812. I’m ready to go to the top of a parking garage and throw the Bose speakers off of it, they are just waiting to be paperweights.
