Has anyone tried Bose 700 headphone with Poly/Plantronics BT600 adapter?

Hello everyone,

I have seen a few threads about using a bluetooth USB adapter with Bose 700 in order to improve experience with softphone calls (Microsoft Teams, etc.).  I was wondering if anyone has tried pairing their 700 with a Plantronics (or now Poly) BT600 USB adapater.

This adapter ships with several of their UC headsets (8200 UC, 6200 UC, 4200 UC, etc.) and in theory should provide call control (most importantly mute button integration with softphone apps) and improved connection strength with the computer.  But I would like to know if anyone has tried this combination and what their experience was like?  In particular I'd like to know how things work with Teams, Cisco WebEx, and Zoom, but anything you can share (even about other services with this pairing) would be very helpful.

Thank you in advance!

I never thought of this possibility so i tried it today - and it works! I am responding to pay it forward to forums that helped me out.

My BT600 came from my plantronics / poly 5200 UC variant.

However there are some limitations on UC platforms e.g. volume control and call answering/drop works, but mute is only on device and not in sync with Skype for Business / Teams. The dongle itself also continue to be in blue LED despite on mute. (On the 5200, muting will cause the dongle to show red LED instead).

These are minor issues for me personally - most importantly is the Bose 700 appears to be stable and reliable to take calls on VOIP / UC platforms with BT600!
