Sound bar working fine for over 12 months with HDMI. Now all of a sudden tv can’t find the HDMI where the sound bar is plugged in. Tried moving bar onto another tv and still can’t be found. Works ok using optical or WiFi.

What environment do you experience the issue in? (e.g. noisy office, quiet kitchen, etc.)

When did you start to experience the issue? Did it work correctly previously?

5/6/2021 working fine for 12 months or more

Any troubleshooting steps you took

Tried unplugging and leaving turned off then reconnect with no joy

Possibly the HDMI port has failed.  However, first I would try a different HDMI cable.  You could also try a factory reset of your Bose.

How would I do a factory reset?

Hello Ste Tonk and thank you for reaching out.

I can certainly help with that! To factory reset your soundbar, you can follow these steps on our support website here.

If you have the older SoundTouch 300 soundbar. You can follow these steps instead.

I hope this helps!
