I have zero audio knowledge but am somewhat technical. I am able to connect our wireless Shure headset to our Bose L1 Compact Powered Speaker, but for some reason, I keep getting horrible feedback (the ear piercing sound).
We have events where our CEO will give presentations using the headset mic. So, she will be up at the front of the room, and I have been putting the Bose speaker at the back of the room.
Is there something special I need to know about setting them up? I know she needs to be "behind the speaker"...what does that mean exactly? Can I just turn the speaker around (at the back of the room)...so that she's still technically "behind" it? Is having it across the room too far from her? Is the speaker supposed to be placed closer to her, but she still has to stand behind it??
All help & advice is GREATLY APPRECIATED!!
