My sister-in-law gave me this bose solo tv speaker, model 418775. I took it home but forgot the remote control, and I live in a different country. So I asked a picture of the r.c. and she sent it me, so I can buy a replacement r.c., but as you can see, it looks like the control for the model 431974. My speaker has BOSE logo in the front, so is it called Bose Solo 5 series I? but the remote control showed in the handbook for model 418775 looks bigger (like a universal standard remote control)
My main concern is that all replacement for the remote control that I found in Amazon and Ebay that look like the one I'm showing clearly specify that they only work with series II, is that the way model 431974 is called? What should I do? 😞

I'm glad you took the time to check with the Community regarding getting the correct remote for your system. The model numbers may be misleading, but the 8-button remote that you've posted works perfectly fine with the Solo 5 TV system. However, the provided remote with the system is the larger universal remote, which works also. My best advice would be to contact local support (US) to get hold of this remote and discuss with the team whether it would be possible to get hold of the 8-button remote if available.
