Hi, I am not able to connect my Bose 500 speaker to my wifi network. When I try the initial steps, it detects my speaker, but the next step always ends in frustration as it keeps showing "Oops, something went wrong"/ See screenshot attached.
Please help as this is getting to be very annoying. I see many others on the form have been having similar complaints and nothing has been done as far as providing solutions.
I have recently purchased the Bose Home Speaker 500.
I have experienced great difficulties setting up my speakers with the Bose Music App. After much efforts and numerous attempts, I had success. However one day after, the app cannot find the Bose Speaker 500.
I am having the same problem. My system was working just fine for over a month now and all of a sudden, the bose app does not connect to my soundbar 500 and in addition Alexa is no longer working either. I’ve rebooted my phone, my modem, my apple airport, the soundbar, the subwoofer, my TV and anything else I could think of. I have no clue what could’ve caused this sudden inability to connect to the WiFi. Any ideas would be much appreciated.
, I am sorry to hear your app will not pair with your speaker and would love to help. The troubleshooting you have tried so far is awesome. However, there are also some other great steps in this thread I would recommend trying, starting with the ones here. They are listed in the thread but I have linked them for your convince.
If you have tried all the troubleshooting which has been discussed in this thread, I would recommend that you reach out to your local technical support team for assistance.
