Hi,
I'd like to connect my PC (Desktop) to Lifestyle 535 to watch streaming/movie from computer in order to enjoy great quality sound & large screen. I would like to have a wire connection.
In the Setup menu, "Add new device" I do not see PC/Laptop. What would be describe it?
Finally, what would be the best cable? I was thinking about using a VGA cable. Can Lifestyle 535 handle VGA output? Is there a better way to do that? I'm operating under Windows 10, with HP Compaq 8100 Elite Convertible Minitower PC. Here are the exact PC specifications:

Thanks in advance for your help!
Hi Amazon1234,
Thank you for your question. HDMI would typically be the best option, but if your computer does not support this connection, you could use a VGA or DVI adapter to connect HDMI to your Lifestyle console. You likely won't get any audio this way though. In this case, you'd also have to connect an audio cable (3.5mm to stereo-RCA).
As far as choosing a name in the "Add a new device" process, you can choose whatever you'd like. I'd personally go with Digital Media Player (since there isn't an exact match for computer).
Another suggestion I'd like to offer would be to utilize an actual digital media player, such as an Apple TV, Roku, or Amazon Fire TV. Many of these options offer popular streaming services and even YouTube. You can also use a Media Server programs to stream videos stored on your computer, directly to your TV. There are a lot of great options out there; I personally use Plex Media Server. Feel free to check these options out!
Best regards,
Brian
