How to Put Black and Gray Clips Back into Audio Connector

I was unplugging the Audio Connector with the RJ-45 connector from the back of my T8S and the connector came undone with the 2 clips (1 Black and 1 Gray) falling onto the floor. Anybody know how that goes back together or have a diagram?

Did these pieces come out of the RJ-45 socket inside the T8S or the RJ-45 plug connected to the ToneMatch Power Supply?

Hi Mojo,

I took mine apart so I could see what you were seeing.

It's a little tricky. There are tiny guides that have to mate up with slots in the metal barrel on the grey piece. 

Did you get it put back together?

Wow, it is very tricky. No I haven't been able to figure it out yet. I will give it another try with the new information you provided.

This last drawing helped a lot. I was able to get it back together successfully I see how they slide in on the sides on that end of that threaded connector. It's actually pretty simple once you know the trick but you're right it is tricky.
