I need more inputs

Hi All, I'm doing a charity gig in a couple of months time, in a small venue.

I'll be using My Li / S1/ B2 system with Ti Tonematch.

there's a variety of acts performing that night, mostly solos and duos.

But there is also a Trio who use 3 mics plus guitars.

It's a one off gig so I don't want any added expense, so how would I connect an external mixer to the T1 ?

Just read that channels 4/5 would be ok for a mixer. !

If that's the case then I would plug the ipad (currently in 4/5 ) into the mixing desk and 3 mics to 1'2'3'.

Would that work ?

Yes that should work OK. I would however pan the instruments to one side (left or right, it doesn't matter) and then take a cable from the main out on the side that you have panned to and connect this to 4/5. You would then need to select a neutral preset for that channel. I would try UTILITY FLAT for this purpose.

Don't forget to set the trim on channel 4/5 of the T1 when using an external mixer to make sure that you have enough signal to work with.

If you can have a trial run beforehand all the better.
