If I connect an external source to the AUX input can this then be played across the network to other Soundtouch speakers?

I’m just about to take the plunge and buy 3 Soundtouch speakers for around my house. Before I take theI just want to know if I connect an external source such as a CD player to the AUX input of a series III Soundtouch 20 or 30 can this music then be played across the network on other networked Soundtouch speakers?

Unfortunately you can not play any external sources that connect to aux in on one soundtouch system into another one. My suggestion is you copy all your song to pc or laptop and import them to itunes or wmp and then add them to music library on your soundtouch app. Or you can use a NAS drive.
