Introducing the new L1 Pro Family!

Hi E.K,

Thanks for joining us on the Bose forum!

The L1 Pro systems can be daisy-chained together by using the 'Line Out' connections on the back, but they are not designed to be used for a surround sound home theatre setup.

Does anyone have the dimensions of just the power stands on the Pro 8 and Pro 16?

Hey DopplerAudio!

I have included the Dimensions of both the Pro 8 and Pro 16 PowerStands below. (H x W x D)

L1 Pro 8 PowerStand:

21.8 x 17.1 x 12.5 in
55.4 x 43.4 x 31.8 cm

L1 Pro 16 PowerStand:

25.4 x 18 x 14 in
64.5 x 45.7 x 35.6 cm

Hope this helps!

I have the L1 compact and 3 weeks ago I bought the L1 Pro 8.  I also tried out the S1 Pro.  After hearing the Pro 8 the S1 Pro sounded really weak and low powered.  Good as a Home bluetooth speaker but not for a live show.  At least that was my take away.  Loving the Pro 8 aside from the wonky connection to the bass unit.  It connects but takes a little wobbling to connect and get the array to work.  Don't know why Bose didn't stick to the L1 Compact connection....never an issue connecting there!

Did you find the L1 was signficantly more powerful than the Reach? Ive been using a Reach for a few year and looking to upgrade to an L1 Pro 16. Do you think the Raeach could be connected to the 1 if extra coverage needed?

I used a Reach for about 4-5 years.  The Pro 8 is much more and fuller sound. No real comparison.  The Reach definitely is cool, especially the mixer app i used.   A real bugger to get off the speaker stand for sure LOL

The Pro8 has an XLR out to connect to another speaker such as your Reach
