Is the S1 the same as the Pro just without the battery?

Hello Everyone!

A friend of mine is selling an S1 (non pro) he got last year. I'm loving my S1 Pro I just got and I'm curious if the only difference is the lack of battery?

They are both S1 Pro’s.  But when it was released it initially didn’t come with a battery but instead the cover.

But both of your S1’s are Pro’s!

Confirming Gbobby's information: There is only one version of the Bose S1 Pro (there is no Bose S1).
