L1 Compact with Panaray 620m

Hi there,

I perform live music in small venues. It is most often solo fingerstyle guitar with vocals, and occasional accompaniment. I have used one/two L1 Compacts and have really enjoyed the sound I've gotten from them. I was looking to add a stage monitor though, and I've been looking into the Panaray 620m. Can anyone provide any suggestions in terms of whether the two L1 Compacts would be compatible with a Panaray 620m?

Thanks very much for your time.

 Ben

Hi Ben,

Welcome to the Bose Portable PA Community.

Have you considered the Bose S1 Pro? The S1 Pro can also serve as a monitor with two sets of dispersion properties (similar to the Bose Panaray 620M).

You can connect the line outputs from your L1 Compacts or mixer to the S1 Pro inputs. The S1 Pro is an active loudspeaker meaning it has a power amplifier built-in. All you need to run it as a monitor are cable(s) from the sound source.

The Bose Panaray 620 is a passive monitor. You would require separate amplifier capable of running 200 watts RMS into 8 ohms to power it.

Does that help?

I use a S1 at a lot of gigs as a monitor and love it!
