Hi all. I'm doing a farmer's market later this summer. I've never used my L1 M2 for a gig before. I'll be playing under a good-sized awning, on a deep deck with plenty of room to position the PA behind me and off to the side. My question is, will placing the Bose under this thing produce any additional feedback risks or other issues? I also don't want to blow my ears out. This is a low-key event so that shouldn't be an issue. Worst case I could push it in front of me and set up a monitor. A couple folks on a guitar forum didn't think it would be an issue, but I'm looking for any other perspectives. The second photo shows what I'll be playing out into.
Hey Chriscom!
The L1 Model II can be placed behind you, if you want to use it as both a main speaker and a monitor. To avoid feedback, I recommend positioning the L1 off to the side slightly, and angling the microphone slightly away from the L1 system.
Hope this helps!
It does, Dylan, thank you, I appreciate it.
