I have 2 L1 model 11. Both with 2 B1 speakers. I put keyboards and mics through system A and guitars and more mics through system B. I then use balanced cables to link the outputs from each tonematch into opposite power stands. This works well apart from the fact I can’t get the output from system B to match the output from system A and vice versa. Basic problem is the guitar volume is fine in its own system and I can balance the volume via the volume control on the keyboard power stand but in doing so it upsets the balance of the keyboards and the same if I do it the other way round.what I’m trying to say is, I can’t get the volume of the guitar or the keyboards to be the same in both units. They always seem a bit lower through their opposite units and whilst the volumes on the power stand will even the volumes up for one instruments, when I try to even the volumes for the other instruments, it upsets the volume of the first. Please help if anyone understands my waffling as it’s getting frustrating.
gen_ii,
Thank you for the time you took to reach out to us. I’m very sorry that we didn’t get to you message sooner.
Really I would recommend doing the leveling by using the analog input gain trim on the powerstand itself to match by ear one at a time. If your Keyboards and Mic’s are connected to Tonematch A and going analog to L1 B, do your sound check while at L1 B and bring up the level until they match. Then do the same with your guitars and mics connected to T1 B where and Goes to L1 A.
Please don’t hesitate to call us if you still have problems after this!
