HI I purchased the L1 Model 2 in October 2020. Every once in awhile I will turn the power button on and I will not hear the fan kick in, and the stand will not function. The green power light goes on. I turn it off once and back on then I hear the fan kick in and it functions. I am calling customer service, but was wondering if anyone had this issue.

It's certainly a concern when you experience unnatural sounds and behaviours from your system. I agree that you should contact Bose customer support to discuss available service options.
Similar issue with mine. Had to send it in for service. Hopefully you got it new and it's still under warranty.
