Hi there,

 

After several days of testing the new L1 Pro family (I have been using L1 systems for the last 15 years) I have the following questions:

 

1. Is it possible to have the system EQ applied independently, on each channel? Most of the setups will feature mics/instruments on channels 1/2 and tracks/music played via bluetooth on channel 3. So it would be great to have LIVE EQ set on channel 1/2 and MUSIC EQ on channel 3. With current app/firmware it is not possible, the chosen EQ preset affects all channels. Please let me know if that can be changed in the next firmware/app update.

 

2. I noticed that when you connect a ToneMatch mixer to the L1 PRO (in my case model T4S) it cannot be controlled wirelessly via the L1 Mix app. Basic functions like mute/change volume are available only using the mixer, not the app. Is it possible to allow wireless control (in a future firmware/app update) of the ToneMatch mixer via L1 Mix app, via the digital connection, or is it imperative to connect the mixer via the TRS stereo output, in order to maintain the full wireless control of the system? I am asking because my normal setup requires one S1 Pro as floor monitor, connected via ToneMatch aux output. I prefer to keep the mixer close to the system located behind me and it would be great to be able to control the system wirelessly via the iPAD used for setlist/notes, which is always connected to the microphone stand. Please let me know if that can be achieved in the future, as the wireless control of the system is one of the main upgrades versus the previous L1 and with the current app/firmware wireless control is not possible with my usual setup.

Ditto on that question! This is my exact issue with the app. I LOVE THE APP but it does NOT allow me to make adjustments from the iPad.... HELLO BUELER!? (Bose) are you listening?

Thank you for your feedback on the new L1 Mix app. Features mentioned in both points you have raised are not currently supported in the app, but I have raised a ticket including your requests to our engineering & development teams for future consideration.

My Bose L1 system is about 6 years old with a T4S. Can it accomodate the new wireless mixer or is it only on the newer Pro series models?

the app only works with the new L1 pro series. The app will control the 3 inputs on the pro series unit.
The t4 will work with the new pro series, but there won’t have any wireless control with the t4, but it will offer more inputs.

Is it possible to upgrade my unit to gain access to the APP ?

Thank you for your query, I can confirm Bose do not offer an upgrade option for legacy L1 systems.
