  • L1 Pro wobbling issues . I own several Bose compacts and Bose S1 speakers and never had any issues. I had a gig with a musician friend of mine at Fisher Island Fl a few weeks ago and we used his two L1 pro 16 as our mains and had a very nice sound but he was very concerned about the wobbling of these speakers. It’s a shame that Bose would design a speaker at a high price range
  • and not use quality connectors and such a bad design on the pro series. I was planning to buy 2 of them but I rather wait until they fix this issue. I own
  • two Ev 50 speakers and they have much better design  system big sound at a lower price. Like I said before I also love Bose but they need to fix this problem soon .

Hey LElleo,

Welcome to the Bose forum! Thank you for joining us.

I recommend taking a look at the response on this thread for more information.

Hi -

Yes, this is helpful and somewhat reassuring for the 'wobble', but I was also asking about the actual sound connection, which on several occasions has not worked initially without being leaned slightly in a way that seems to be slightly less secure (the extension and line array need to be angled very slightly toward the rear of the unit in order to get sound to the line array section -the base unit works fine - which leaves a little gap where they connect to the base unit).  I don't want to be over-dramatic about it, but it just takes away from my confidence for a show a bit and wonder if it's normal/ something to worry about.  it's almost like i need to put a little shim in the pocket of the base unit to make sure the connection doesn't falter during the show.   I will say that when I've had to do the lean to make sure the connection works, it has so far stayed working without an issue.  Again, I'm just trying to make sure nothing wrong with my unit and that I can stop leaving my old PA in the car as backup.

Thank you!

Hi scooter1,

Hmm, this definitely shouldn't be the case. Do you have the speaker array fully inserted into the powerstand?
