So i have a Bose l1 s that works as it should via the analog input but when i connect a T1 it powers but shows a blank screen with the backlight on.
it came to me form a friend who said he thinks he plugged something in incorrectly but thats all he knew,
I suspected a failed T1 but i've tried a brand new t4s witch flashes on then goes blank the only thing that seems to work is the phantom power indicator.
does any one have an idea on diagnosing it further or any tests i can do?

You might try using a different cable for your digital connection, just in case your Tonematch cable is bad. A standard CAT-5 or CAT-6 Ethernet cable will work. If your T1 still exhibits the same symptoms, then the problem might be with your L1s, and you'll need to contact Bose for service. They will guide you through further diagnostics and service options. Also, do you have a separate power supply for your T1? If so, does it power on correctly when you use it? This would rule out (or confirm) a problem with the T1.
