I was wondering what difference if any between connecting line out from the mixer to the F1 sub then to the F1 812 or vice versa?
Hi AJ,
The biggest difference is - if you start with the F1 Model 812 first, you can add gain in the mixer section that is passed through to the F1 Subwoofer. This can be useful if your signal source isn't high enough to drive the F1 Model 812 and F1 Subwoofer to full output.
F1 Model 812 First
The F1 Model 812 has two inputs: INPUT 1 and INPUT 2. The LINE OUTPUT is a post-Volume mix of the two inputs. This is a two channel mixer. The mix (and any gain you add here) is passed through to the F1 Subwoofer. Here's the F1 Model 812 input panel.
- If you connect to the F1 Model 812 first, you can use both inputs and have those go through to the F1 Subwoofer that comes later in the signal chain.
- If you need to add input gain to both the F1 Model 812 and the F1 Subwoofer (downstream from the 812), then connect to the F1 Model 812 first.
F1 Subwoofer First
Does that help?

Hi ST
Thanks for the help I will set up next time going into the 812 first rather than as it says in the manual go into the sub first and see how I go.
Hi AJ,
The manual doesn't cover all possible use cases.
Please come back and tell us how all of this works out for you.
Thanks,
ST
Esto quiere decir que los canales L y R pasarán sin ser afectados por el volume.
Si pongo en Mínimo el potenciómetro (3) el subwoofer dejará de sonar y solo se escuchara el L y R ?
Gracias por tu tiempo.
Andy.
Hi Andy,
From Google Translate
Hello ST.
This means that the L and R channels will pass without being affected by the volume.
If I set the potentiometer (3) to minimum, the subwoofer will stop playing and only the L and R will be heard.
Thanks for your time.
Andy
Andy are you asking a question?
ST
Si. Es una pregunta. Disculpas si no fui claro. Perdón

Is that what you need to know?
ST
Si... ST.
Abrazo
Andy.
