No, the included cable is only for carrying the left and right audio signal to head phone. the NC700 builtin mic can only be used during bluetooth mode. If you need to use the headphone wired with mic, then you can get the QC25 cable that has inline mic built within the cable itself(personally i own the QC25 but the mic quality is not great, just usable).
If this is a deal breaker for you, return it while you still can.
No, unfortunately, you can't use the mic with the wire.
I remember a Post where a guy even performed intensive test with another cables, and at the end of the day, even with microphone-adapted cable, It was figured out that there is no mic output at all in the jack connector of the NC700.
As far as I can remember, there was the mention to use a cable with a built in mic (but then why have a bose 700 with mic), and I have seen that there is a boom mic for the nc700 on amazon.
No clue if this is working, though.
