I want to add an auxiliary analog 8 channel mixer to L1 Pro 8. Should I connect to either Line 1 or Line 2 XLR/TRS input or Line 3, 1/4" input? Thank you.

Hello jdycus,
With the L1 Pro series, you should connect a mixer to the channel three 1/4" input jack. It is designed for a 1/4" TRS plug, line-level balanced signal. (You can use a 1/4" TS plug, line-level unbalanced signal if necessary; it will have lower signal strength and be more susceptible to noise.) The channel one and two combo jacks are designed for mic-level signals when using XLR, or instrument-level signals using the 1/4".
Does that help?
Owner's manual, referring to channels 1 & 2 states "
or line level (TRS balanced) cables."
Hello jdycus,
Yes, I stand corrected, I hadn't noticed that before. I had looked at the Bose L1 Pro Application Guide document and it didn't make that distinction. (On page 5 it said instrument-level with TRS or TS for the combo jacks, and line-level for TRS in input 3.) I'll take the owner's guide over the marketing material any time! So yes, any of the three channels when using a TRS cable.
Great catch!
