Model 11 mike and accordion

I’m new in, Got L1 Model 11 with tone match,Shure mike BG 5.1 condenser, and SD3 Ketron expander with Accordion.First the model 11 system is fantastic, but for some reason sounds very bassy. I have 2 B1s. I’m Going into channel 3 on flat and play loud it sounds as if the loudness is in the mid bass because when i play an organ sound on C2 on the accordion which is in the 250hz it sounds too bassy then when you go up an octive to 500hz it sounds trebly and piercing this must be normal i think anyway i play for fans from 50 to 200.I’m in front of speakers 6 feet with no problems, but i can’t hear everything only bass is killing everything, on putting on headphones the sound is perfect, maybe because i’m playing loud i’ve tried less bass and more mid but for some reason dose not work. The mike is Shure BG 5.1 this gose in normal handheld is this okay this being a condenser any feedback is cured buy turning down the treble, use this also for picking up the normal accordion and singing, used mikes before on the accordion but found this to be no good too many mikes causing bass feedback to close too each other,I don’t know why it is that the accordion in the midi sounds better than my accordion, my accordion is live and sounds live but i can’t get anywhere near the sound of the midi. Someone on this forum said that they were geting to much reverb on there XD3 you can turn the reverb off in the effects button or turn it down and then save it

Hi jamesonly,

I’m sorry you are having problems with you gear.

First, I would recomend that you listen at a lower volume as the high sound pressure level could be contributing to your problems both with feedback and what you are pervcieving to hear (or not hear).

If you ahve any further questions or need additional support please feel free to respond to this post.

Thanks,
Craig
