I have an S1 Pro and L1 Compact which I use utilizing the daisy chaining techniques which I found in this forum. I am planning to buy an F1 Subwoofer to add up the bass effect. I just want to have some suggestions if it is ok to do the same daisy chain technique between S1 Pro and L1 Compact with the F1 Subwoofer? Or what would be suggested as the most optimal connection among these PA System? Is buying a third party mixer an option?
I recommend connecting your audio input source directly to the F1 sub, then using the F1's XLR line outputs (image below) to connect to the L1 Compact and S1 Pro separately:
Selecting 'HPF' on the Line Output EQ switch (bottom right in image) will ensure that only the F1 is handling the sub frequencies, which will give you a clearer, more focused sound through the L1 Compact and S1 Pro systems.
Note - with this setup, the volume knob on the F1 subwoofer will have no effect on the line output levels.
