Muting Aux out

For small gigs and bars I use the L1 compact in conjunction with the T4 tonematch mixer and I use an S1 as my personal monitor.  Overall this works pretty well.  I use the aux out send to my S1 and set my sends on the the aux.  My problem is only muting.  Once I have all my volumes right on the mixer and the  S1 monitor to assure no feedback issues I realized there is no mute for the aux out . When I press all the the mutes all the instruments and mics are shut off to the main but the aux out remains active.  the only way to mute it by getting of my chair and going around to turn down the S1?  Seems with everything u thought of there ought to be a simple way to mute the aux also. Was that over looked?

Check page 21 of the manual:
"Note: To mute the Aux output, press the Level control. Press it again to unmute."

You could also set the Aux to Post Fader instead of Pre, which I believe would make the channel mutes also mute their signal in the Aux output (and the aux mix would also follow level changes in the main mix).

Hope this helps,
Jeff

Hi, Rory.

Welcome to the Bose Portable PA Community.

As Jeff K said, if you set the Aux Tap point to POST FADER, then muting the channels (CH MUTE buttons) will mute the Aux sends too.

Here are some notes T4S Aux Outputs

That’s awesome...Thx!  I never knew how to do that!
