I have researched this on the forum but not found anything like what I want. Has anybody tried using a Y adapter on channel 1 or 2 for an extra mic input. I do a duo sometimes with a girl singer and need 1 more input for her. We would both use one input for our vocals and my acoustic would go into the 2nd input. Anybody tried it?

What devices were you using that were affected and what version are they on (e.g. Samsung Galaxy S9 on Android 11, iPhone X on iOS14, etc.)
Detailed description of the issue and steps to reproduce
What environment do you experience the issue in? (e.g. noisy office, quiet kitchen, etc.)
When did you start to experience the issue? Did it work correctly previously?
Any troubleshooting steps you took
I would highly recommend against it ... there are many technical reasons having to do with impedance, signal levels, and possible damage to the input stage of the S1 Pro, especially if you get a mis-wired cable. Also, you will not be able to manage level and tone of two singers evenly.
If you need two mics to one input, you should at least use a mic combiner made for the purpose, such as the ART SPLITCom or Galaxy Audio JIB/C. These devices simply let you combine two signals safely, but you will experience lower volume. However, for a little bit more (still less than $100) investment, you can get a small two-channel mixer that would give you so much more in terms of individual tone, level control, and a full signal without risking damage to your S1 Pro.
If battery power is a must, the Behringer 1002B five-channel mixer works well, and many have used it with the S1 Pro (although at a higher price point.)
All that said, you can probably do it and it will probably work fine and you may never have a problem ... but then again you might. Your decision.
Does that help?
I currently use a small battery powered mixer into an S1 Pro to busk with. It should suit you perfectly. It has a stack of gain with very low noise.

That does help. Thanks for the input.
