Need a mike purely for singing purpose with karaoke music on my recently bought BOSE S1 pro speaker

Hello friends, kindly help me to select/purchase a mike(costing minimum & an average with decent or above quality of sound), purely for singing purpose to be used with my BOSE S1 PRO SPEAKER with karaoke music. Guess we can play karaoke music while using a mike for singing on S1 PRO simultaneously. Any quick suggestions with mike details are welcome. Thanks.

Hi Hemant,

Welcome to the forum.

There are many mics that are suitable for your needs, let me offer general guidelines rather than specific.

Brand names that are widely available include Shure, EV, Audix, as well as many others.

You will want to chose a dynamic mic. The most common are cardioid pattern, but if you choose a super or hyper cardioid it will be more resistant to feedback if you use the S1 behind the singer.

Prices can vary widely, but good quality mics can be purchased in a range from just under $100 to $200.

Personally I use an EV ND 96 with my S1 and like it very much, but I feel confident I could use a Shure SM 58 or any number of other models and be quite happy.

Your favorite search engine is your friend. The brand names mentioned above all have good information on their websites to help you better understand the ins and outs of mic selection.

O..

We use Shure SM58 Beta mics. A bit more power and presence than a standard 58. Very feedback resistant
