Next Generation Bose F1 System

Although Bose did not unveil any new products at Winter NAMM 2020, I wonder are they working on something. The Bose F1 System has been out for quite a while and they have heard feedback from all aspects of the musical entertainment community.

I am about to invest more into the Bose brand along the lines of the F1 products. I would hate to expand my current F1 rig with products that are available right now, and then 5 months down the road, Bose launches next generation F1 stuff.

I just need to know should I sit on my dollars for now, or should I continue to invest in the current system. Any insight would be appreciated.

Good luck with this one. Bose is one of the most secretive companies out there. They will not give you the smallest hint until they are ready to tell the whole class.

Yes, Bose does not pre-release any info like that. End of story.

Not really looking for a detailed release, but similar to the Bose S1 release....before we knew what was actually coming, we had a heads up to be watching.

Hi, DJ8X.

Thanks for your question. I understand and appreciate why you want to know.

Bose doesn't discuss products that may be in development. I'm sure you'll understand the business reasons for that.

Bose didn't discuss the S1 Pro before it was officially announced, but as you observed, there were some "heads up to be watching" messages.   There are no similar messages these days.

Unfortunately that is the case with many, if not all, companies.  Think it is actually worse with other technology.  There will is always a better phone or computer just around the corner.

I am in a similar situation.  I have 2 S1 Pros and just bought an F1 Sub.   Will soon get the F1 top to go with the sub.

Be bummed if they do release and new and improved version a few months down the road.   But better to have the gear now and make use of it than to not have it.

Someone gave me advice a while ago which makes sense.  Buy the gear when you need it, not when you want it.  The longer you wait, the better chance you have to get the newest version  There will also be less regret if something new comes out shortly after purchase because you had to have the gear when you did purchase, and waiting was not an option.
