Detailed description of the issue and steps to reproduce
I just got a pair of NC700 headphones and the USB link. It paired easily with both my iPhone running iOS 14.4 as well as the USB Link. I immediately downloaded the latest firmware for both the NC 700 as well as the USB Link. I addition to being paired to the iPhone and USB Link, I also paired it to a bluetooth transmitter I have attached to my TV. The transmitter is an Anker Soundsync A3341. The first thing I noticed was that I could not use the Bose Music App to pair my headphones with the transmitter. I was able to pair them using the bluetooth button on the right ear cup. Once paired, the transmitter does not show up in the music app so there is no easy way to switch to and from the tv.
I also have a QC 35 II which uses the Bose Connect app. This app works MUCH better. Not only am I able to pair the same transmitter to my QC 35's using the app, the transmitter (along with other devices) shows up in a list and I can very easily turn them on and off. It appears that the only devices that show up in the music app are Bose devices. Is this correct? When I try to connect my NC 700 to the Bose Connect app, it says I have to use the Music App. Is there a way to use Bose Connect with the NC 700? Is there a way to get the Music App to allow me to turn connections to non-Bose devices on and off? Is there a way to add non-Bose devices to the list of devices in my Music app?
