Pairing Bose S1 Pro to other bluetooth speaker

Is it possible to pair the Bose S1 Pro via Bluetooth to :

 

  1. Another Bose speaker such as a Bose Soundlink Revolve or Micro ?
  2. A third party Bluetooth speaker such as a UE Megaboom ?

Through the Bose connect app you should be able to pair 2x S1Pros, however I don't think it will work for SOundlinks and definitely not for 3rd party speakers.

 

To be honest I'm not sure why you would want to.  There would be a huge imbalance in sound, even if you balanced the volume.  For them to work they would have to be within BT range (up to 10m) so having it in another room wouldn't be suitable.  I've even hooked up a Soundlink Mini to a Revolve which are much closer together, but the quality difference didn't make them sound very good.

My idea was to use the S1 Pro as my primary audience facing speaker for live music (guitar & voice), while the smaller speaker would be my monitor.

Welcome to the forum! Thank you for joining us. To answer your questions:

  1. You should be able to pair the S1 Pro with any 1 compatible speaker in the Bose Connect app for Party/Stereo Mode (SoundLink Micro, Color, Revolve, Revolve Plus & S1 Pro).
  2. You wouldn't be able to pair the S1 Pro with a non-Bose speaker over Bluetooth.
