QC35 II totally dead

I have had my QC35II for a little over 2 years and they were great until last week. Then the switch died and wouldn't turn off. Then when the battery died they wouldn't turn on. So basically they were only good as wired headphones. I read somewhere about doing some surgery to fix a little metal piece inside but I am travelling and don't have my tools.

Now today they quit working altogether. I heard a noise then silence. Won't play with or without the cord, won't charge, won't connect to USB. Any ideas or should I just throw them in the garbage?

Hey , thanks for posting, welcome to the Bose Community!

Sorry to hear that you're experiencing some power issues with your QC35 II's. This isn't what we like to hear and would love to help get this resolved.

Please could you follow the steps listed here. I understand that you may not be able to complete the manual update if the USB connection is unsuccessful. If the reset fails to bring the headphones back to life, please contact your local customer support team to seek service on the headphones. You can do this by clicking Global Contact Us > Select your country > Scroll to the bottom of the page > Click 'Contact Us'

Much to my surprise it worked. The computer wouldn't acknowledge it was connected to anything but when I ran the software updater it found the headphones and resurrected them. Thanks for the help!
