Remote control on new Solo soundbar series II does not work

What devices were you using that were affected and what version are they on  Samsung TV, connected with optical cable and latest Xfinity remote control. 

Detailed description of the issue and steps to reproduce

Instructions to pair state:

  1. On your Bose remote, press and hold the TV button until the TV and Bluetooth® lights on the speaker blink three times and then glow white

But when I press the TV button nothing happens. No lights flicker on speaker.

 

What environment do you experience the issue in? n/a

 

When did you start to experience the issue? Did it work correctly previously? 

 

Button never worked 

 

Any troubleshooting steps you took

 

Yes I unplugged speaker for over a minute and took battery out of remote for a few minutes in an effort to reset.

You will need to have universal remote to be able to program it. Here is the LINK  for it.

 

If you have the small one, that is not a the universal one. 

 

You can also just use the remote of your Samsung TV and program it to control your Bose soundbar.
