Remote replacement

My remote for the wave system stopped working. If I buy a replacement will it automatically connect with my radio?

However, I would like to confirm, have you tried any troubleshooting to resolve this first? As you may not need a new remote. The first thing we would want to look at is changing the batteries, then if needed, we can explore some troubleshooting. However, I would need to know which model of Wave you have to do this. This can be identified using the serial number lookup tool here. The serial number is around 6 digits and should be on the back of your system.
