Which model do you have? If it's the Model 1/ Classic then there is no service available from Bose or anyone else. I had a highly skilled amp tech look at my old L1 classic that stopped working and he said the majority of the components are sealed in welded metal casing and are impossible to service. If you have a model 1s or Model II the only option I'm aware of to send it in to Bose for service and the cost is $250 plus shipping. I know this because I just went through the process with my model II. Since my unit was 8 years old Bose offered me a deal to trade mine in for a brand new powerbase for $400 and free shipping so I jumped on that! Good luck!

Hi Yamahaha,

Based on Keith's public profile, it looks like he is likely talking about an L1 Model II.

Service offerings may be different based on where you are in the world. Keith appears to be in the UK so he'll want to talk to Bose UK to find out what his options are.

Hi guys. My Powerstand for the L1 m2 is doing the blinky. I probably get a minute before the power fault light starts blinking and cutting the sound out. The speed of it increases over a few minutes. I’ve check modules cables and all that jazz. The same result. I’m in Utah, USA. The only thing I haven’t verified is the firmware version via tonematch 4. Will I be safe in attempting this as a fix. Is there is there a shop local I can call? I know this is a common problem and I’d be willing to fixit myself if given instructions. I just can’t afford to pay through the nose for repairs especially shipping. So sad because I barely got 15 minutes out of this thing. 😞 please help. Faneusrf@gmail.com Stay cool everyone!
