Can you use a reverb on off foot pedal with the S1 pro or do you have to control reverb via the back of the speaker

Unfortunately, you cannot control the built-in reverb in the S1 Pro with a foot pedal.

You can
- Connect the microphone to the S1 Pro (use the tone, and reverb controls as you like).
- Connect the S1 Pro Line Out to the first L1 Compact channel 2
use a 1/4 inch (6.3 mm) Tip-Ring-Sleeve cable. - Connect the first L1 Compact Line Out to the second L1 Compact

Try to position the systems (S1 Pro and L1 Compacts) to avoid overlap in sound fields to minimize feedback.

I have two sennheiser condenser mics, one yamaha keyboard, an acoustic electric guitar, 2 L1 compacts and two S1 pros as well as a Behringer mixer 1002B.
Another option,
Buy a Yamaha MG06X, run it off a 12-volt battery pack. Connect main out on Yamaha to both L1C with this cable:

No daisy chain, use the S1 where needed. Full FX controls.
I've used my 5 channel Behringer 1002B mixer this way:
PAN vocals all the way left, run left output to one channel on S1 - add reverb and use vocal setting
PAN guitars/instruments all the way to the right, run right output to 2nd channel on S1 - add reverb and/or use guitar setting if desired (guitar setting sounds GREAT with my 2019 '61 SG Standard).
Then daisy chain from S1 to your compacts as described by ST.
Just curious...do you ever use the fxsend on the behringer in any way?
Not yet...
All of my outboard EFX units have died - including my microVerb.
All except my SPX90 -- that's why I record and mix all "In the Box" now.
