Reverb in Portable PA

Can you use a reverb on off foot pedal with the S1 pro or do you have to control reverb via the back of the speaker

thanks x

Hi, Alexa Vox.

Welcome to the Bose Portable PA Community.

Unfortunately, you cannot control the built-in reverb in the S1 Pro with a foot pedal.

Perhaps another feature to ad on the S1 Pro wish-list?

I have a behringer mixer with no on board reverb. I am using 2 L1 compacts for amplication. How can I get reverb for my vocals. I do have an S1 pro as well. Could I use it in some way to provide reverb and then daisy chain to L1 s. Thanks.

You can

Try to position the systems (S1 Pro and L1 Compacts) to avoid overlap in sound fields to minimize feedback.

Does that help?

Yes... So I don't use my mixer for the microphones or S1 pro at all?

Do I use my FX send in any way on my behringer?

Sorry - I missed that you mentioned a mixer.

Please tell us all the sound sources (microphones, instruments) and other equipment in your signal chain and give us a link to the owner's manual for the mixer.

Thanks,

I have two sennheiser condenser mics, one yamaha keyboard, an acoustic electric guitar, 2 L1 compacts and two S1 pros as well as a Behringer mixer 1002B.

Another option,
Buy a Yamaha MG06X, run it off a 12-volt battery pack. Connect main out on Yamaha to both L1C with this cable:

No daisy chain, use the S1 where needed. Full FX controls.

I've used my 5 channel Behringer 1002B mixer this way:

PAN vocals all the way left, run left output to one channel on S1 - add reverb and use vocal setting

PAN guitars/instruments all the way to the right, run right output to 2nd channel on S1 - add reverb and/or use guitar setting if desired (guitar setting sounds GREAT with my 2019 '61 SG Standard).

Then daisy chain from S1 to your compacts as described by ST.

Just curious...do you ever use the fxsend on the behringer in any way?

Not yet...

All of my outboard EFX units have died - including my microVerb.

All except my SPX90 -- that's why I record and mix all "In the Box" now.
