Can you run from the S1 line out, over to a bass guitar amp for bass boost?

Would you need a low pass filter in front of the amp for it?

You can. It may or may not sound good. That will depend on the bass guitar amp.

The bass guitar amp probably has a frequency response that is wide enough to overlap with the S1 Pro so it may not sound good without a low pass filter in front of the amp.

There's no harm in trying it. 

If it sounds good to you, please tell us about the amp and low pass filter (if you use one).

I have used S1 on battery as foldback for bass and the drummer, and line out to a mixer with good results in balance and quality. It is not quite as good as DI to mixer from my Phil Jones PG-100.
