S1 not working on battery but power leds are ON

Hi: I just got my S1 pro. I plugged in the power outlet and paired to my bluetooth iphone., everything perfect.   

I charged the unit all night, and I just took it out of my house to hear some music on the patio.   I unplugged the unit. power it on.  Front led and rear led are solid BLUE, but bluetooth does not lit up.  I also plugged in a cable on the aux port but no sound comes on the speaker.  As soon as I plug this on the electrical outlet sound comes on.    I tried to reset the unit by following the instructions on taking out the battery for 30 seconds, didn't worked.  I used the Bose updater, it said I am on the latest firmware available 7.1.8.     when plugged in I test the battery status by pressing the bluetooth button for 2 seconds, led blinks four times, so battery is good... not sure what else to do?

Welcome to the Bose forum! I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue with the S1 Pro when not connected to power. 

When playing music using an AUX cable, does the signal indicator LED for channel 3 still light up green?

Does the Bluetooth LED light up when pressing and holding the Bluetooth button for 10 seconds to clear the pairing list?

When playing music using an AUX cable, does the signal indicator LED for channel 3 still light up green?  YES , IF IT IS PLUGGED IN TO THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET..  NO, IF I UNPLUG FROM OUTLET.

Just two blue leds are on, next to the power button, and in front of the unit.  but no sounds comes ata all..
